As a dilettante GI Joe collector, I've been so impressed by how innovative Palitoy was in transforming GI Joe into Action--not just flocking and gripping hands as described, but also the Eagle-Eye feature, the muscle-body, and more detailed uniforms. The 40th Anniversary Action man output was amazing and a fitting homage.
They really upgraded offerings like Bulletman and Atomic Man, too: rocket-boots and an "atomic" pacemaker? Great play value. Just imagine if they had applied this to Mego WGSH. Thanks for sharing. That was some really cool information. Though I do prefer "Kung Fu Grip" to "Gripping Hand."
