    1978 Dejay Record Player Catalog

I'm really happy vinyl is back in what few record stores I can find these days, that's why I love this 1978 catalog from Dejay featuring a variety of licensed children's record players.

Disco, Holly Hobbie and the Superfriends, it's a grouping that won't happen in any other decade....

Check out the 1978 Dejay Catalog here.

I have a well-worn Superman record player. Love the graphics on that thing. Plus, it works!

My little half-sister had SP-20 in red that she got for her birthday. I think those ones that have the built-in radio are really groovy!

Oh yes! And if you don't have a record player, there's always the podcast!

Seriously, when Cindy gave me the Superman record player a few years back, the first thing I did was grab a Power Records 45 and listen to it. A Superman one, of course!

                That was then.

                This is now.

I would still buy that record player in a heartbeat. My favorite Superman artwork ever.

I'd get Superman or the Super Friends if I ever ran across them. I had a Mickey Mouse as a kid.

Totally digging the blue t-shirt with the sparkly Superman the Movie S-shield one of the cover kids is wearing. I would totally wear that now (in a much larger size, of course! LOL!)

I had the superfriends one as a kid. Wish I still had it. I did however pick up a cabbage patch kid record player for a dollar at a yard sale a year ago and it sounds perfect! No kidding!

I longed for the KISS record player or a Superfriends one. But I had the blue denim covered model. It worked just fine though, listened to many G.I. Joe book & record adventures on that thing!
