I'm curious about what's out there, too, but I admit, when I read the thread name, I thought of the Phantom of the Opera first.

Wanted: Legends of the West (Empire & Excel) and other western historically-based figures. Send me an offer.
Also interested in figures based on literary characters.
There was an action figure and the skull helicopter during the Defenders of the Earth era. I've also seen a few minibusts and statues. And about a year ago there was a Hot Wheels pop culture car.
Thanks guys. If memory serves there were some rack toys that were repackaged jungle themes with a Phantom figure thrown in.
BTW, I really enjoyed the movie. I thought it was well done.
I saw the movie at the theatre when it was released; I liked it too. My Dad said he liked it as well on VHS. When I saw it, the Toronto theatre was even handing out free Skull Rings to patrons. In the 90s, I wore that thing premium everywhere I went, with pride!!!!! It wasn't official Phantom merchandise, but I still thought it was cool.
Man, I wasn't sure those god-awful peanut-head Phantoms from the film made it out!
Chris
Not only did they make it out...but they were all over Kay Bee Hobby stores here in New York. I love the Phantom...but couldn't bring myself to buy them when they came out. The figure with the throne used to be in the "Dump Bins" at 3 for $10. Never saw the Horse 2 pack though.
"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".
I've been a Phantom fan since I was a little kid, and I always wanted Phantom figures, but these were so awful that I passed on buying them even at closeout prices.
