Had the Dragun. I think it was a compromise between my mom and me, since I'm sure I wanted the Jumbo figure.

I never had these, but I do have a real soft spot for Monogram stuff from this period. My grandfather was ill and bedridden for a while around 1979, and we bought him a bunch of Monogram kits to pass the time.

Oddly enough, when it comes to the Shogun Warriors, I had a bunch of the smaller vehicle toys back then (originally Popynica pieces, I think) but was never super into the giant robots themselves for some reason.

I remember seeing some of these kits for sale at retail at a local toy store as recent as 1990, so I guess they weren't huge sellers. Love the off model painting on these.
