    Share your childhood artwork.

I was digging through a some of my old sketches the other day and came across this little drawing I forgot I still even had. If anyone else has any drawings or artwork they did as kids, please feel free to share. I'd love to see them.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Oh boy, I have a bunch of old hand drawn boxing magazines based on my megos that I'll post later on. Fun idea.

I don't remember exactly. Maybe 12? I think I did it in class when I was supposed to be paying attention.

Hey that is very nice! I used to love to draw as a kid and even drew my own comic books. Honestly I was terrible (very terrible) but it was a great outlet for me creatively. Sadly I have no idea what ever happened to them.
Chris, I've still got that DC Superhero poster you drew that was one of the Mego Meet give-a-way prizes years ago. I'm still blown away by it.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that. It would have been fun to see them.

Thanks! I think most of my childhood drawings are still at my Dad's house. I got in the habit of drawing a comic cover for every action figure play session I did. I need to dig those out.

This is the oldest surviving stuff of mine I could find...from 1997 and 1998, back before I started painting.
BUT, I did find these two slightly mouse-eaten award certificates I got for art in first and second grade. I do remember the first thing I ever drew was Spider-Man's face.

Those are great and those old awards are very cool. That's awesome you still have them.

For the few here that know me, they know as a child the focal point of my mego's was making them boxing and doing fightcards with my brothers. I spent countless hourse making hand drawn boxing magazines. Here's a handful of the many I still have. Good memories.

Thanks. I think I was about 13 or 14 when I drew that. It hung in my locker in highschool.
