Hi All, I am a huge fan of the tv show from back in the day and have the dvd set and i have some multiples of the action figures that cam out in 1977, exclusively from WOOLWORTH's! (remember them!) 
Anyway, most of them have two problems, A) the hands are deteriorating into nothingness and B) the arms and legs either fall out of alignment.
Can anyone explain how this is happening? I am assuming Woolworth's didnt put much money into the production of these figures, and back then no one expected figures to be such collector pieces. ANy insight into the chemical process of production, would be greatly appreciated, thank you all for reading.
