I still have mine somewhere in box with the Freakie cereal toys. It was huge fad in grade school! We would try to pull the string and get the squirmel to come out of our desks.
Yeah, I had an orange one.
I was thinking about starting a thread about them and then I ran across this one.
I could never get them to act as "real" as they did on the commercials. Of course I can't do a yo-yo very well either. Up & down a few times and then inevitably it doesn't come all the way back. LOL
I only knew of them from the gumball machines. I never knew they actually came carded.
I do remember they shed and got trashed after awhile.
Does any one know if the gumball ones where different then the carded ones?
I too could never get them to work like it said, but hey, most things like this never did.
I'm glad people remember these, they were a big part of my growing up.
Lynn
The ones in the Gumball machines were a Knockoff believe or not you can still get the Gumball version, from time to time they are still offered today, if you can locate a vending machine that has one.
