Another Identity Question

I have this car from when I was a tot. It is about 1 1/4" long and is made by Ideal. I originally had a second one that was a maroon Can-Am type. Seems I also remember some kind of track with elevators and other strange obstacles. Anyone.......anyone?

Nope.TCR were the electric slotless cars. These are like predecessors to micro machines.

I think those were from a set where the track was a figure 8 in a downhill, and it had a lift that pulled the car to the top and then they raced down. You can find something similar today but with penguins. They have almost like a conveyor belt with notches that hook on to the car and pull it to the top, almost like a slide. I think I remember something like this being sold at the old Woolworth's stores. They had one set up that just ran and ran and ran. I've seen the penguin one at the local flea market from the vendor that sells all those chinese knock off toys.

You just may be right. I may be getting some of this confused with the Bing Bang Boing I had around the same time. I'm still going to continue this quest until I eventually see what I had.
