Anyone know anything about this monkey mask?

Picked this up at a yard sale last week. It is old, my guess it was made to cash in on the planet of the apes craze so late 60s early 70s? Still has its original elastic string, not sure about the plastic wire for the mouth hinge. No markings of any kind. It is child sized and super creepy when worn, scared the hell out of my wife when I walked in with it on. Any info would be appreciated. Ryan

Thanks for the effort guys, but the WOZ is a blind alley. Looked high and low online and nothing. Also, if it were made for a flying monkey costume, wouldn't it be blue? Ryan

^ I'm 95% positive Rubies Costumes sold these as inexpensive monkey masks, cross-sold for WOz, in their '80s catalogues which I used to receive. If it wasn't them, it was Theatre House in Kentucky.

As to the color, brown is multi-purpose. Blue is licensed .

This would make a great base for a detailed mask that's built over it.
