    Star Wars Vans by FunDimensions

Is there anything more 1970s than the mixing of Star Wars with vans? It was my dream as a kid to grow up and get my own groovy van.

PLEASE tell me somebody has made real life versions of these....For more Fashion Mockery and 70's toy love visit us at Plaid Stallions.com

Those are fantastic. I dig the Falcon cockpit glass on top, and I really like the side graphics on the R2D2 and Vader vans. The giant R2 head makes that van the best of the group.

Always wanted one of those. The Vader Van could be an actual car, I can see that driving around.

Wow, I remember these. I can't remember if I had one, though.
I am more than machine. More than man. More than a fusion of the two.

How did FunDimensions manage to put these out, and not Kenner? I would have thought this fell under their ironclad Master License.

Doesn't have that cool Falcon glass, but I dig this one-

And as for Vans shoes, I dig these-

I remember some Kenner vans in one of the very first Star Wars pack-in brochures. Did they all get released?

Probably because General Mills owned both Kenner and MPC Fundimensions at the time.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Because these were model kits, not toys.
Had to put them together and apply the decal yourself.
I had the Luke and the Vader back in the day.

And if I remember correctly, the decals had parts that glowed in the dark as well.

Awesome. I remember seeing ads for these as a kid and thinking they were amazing, but I never owned any.
