Greatest "action feature" on an action figure

I just saw a really cool action figure on eBay that I'd never seen before. Dr.X, part of the British "Action Man" line, Figure comes with an exposed electronic brain and a laser eye. I imagine it's like a small laser pen inside his head. I thought it was very inventive and I always thought that today's toys should have more advanced technology/sophistication than the older toys that were so great like maskatron, SMDM, Pulsar, Hypnos, big jim zorak, Iron fist, etc. but it seems few lines today offer anything inovative. The "Action man" line is great, 1 version Prof. Gangreene has "swishy guts" that pop out when you squeeze him, very cool! So here's the question- What is the best action feature on an action figure? For the record my favorite is Pulsar with his expanding lungs and blood circulation, flip up face w/ mission disks!

I would have to say probbaly the SMDM. Being able to roll his skin back and see the "bionic" chips in his arms was a powerful tool for your imagination when it came time to play as a kid. Pretty much every thing was geared around that feature, so it made for an interesting dynamic, especially when it came to recreating moments from the TV show. Some great memories in there!

Just wanted to mention that (imho) the He-man line was perhaps the single greatest action feature line ever. tons of action features spread out across dozens of figures. I don't think any single one is greater than the pulsar, hypnos, smdm, maskatron toys of the 70's that they often aped, but for sheer volume of toys they are definitely worth a mention.

I think it's Big Jim. The karate chop action, and actually being able to form a muscle! Wow! Second choice I think would be Pulsar and his innards. I actually had a student who wanted to borrow him for a science project!

Oh man I forgot about Mossman and Skunkor. Smell has to be an excellent action feature.

Here's another one. What about the COPS line? Buttons McBoomBoom( I love that name) had the guns flip out when he opened his coat. And another bad guy just exploded. (man you can almost smell the gun powder from the caps)

                      Visionaries had those holograms.

Truth to tell, I never cared for action features on action figures.

I never regarded the Kung-Fu grip as an action feature like I would a karate chop or spinning legs but I did like the KFG because it help the Joes hold their weapons better.
