    Bubble Funnies

My friend found these while we were on a flea market run and I gotta admit I was totally envious. I haven't thought of these bubble gum and mini comic book combos in 30 years but seeing them just made me happy.

I now have to track down every one of these and Chu-Bops (the record album version of these) as well.

I bet the gum tastes terrific...For more Fashion Mockery and 70's toy love visit us at Plaid Stallions.com

I bought some of these for me and my friend's 18 inch boy dolls. I have a whole set. See my previous topic?

Has anyone else heard of these? I was looking for some mini comic books for my 18 inch dolls, and found these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BUBBLE-FUNNIES-MINI-COMICS-7-TOTAL-6-DIFFERENT-STILL-IN-PLASTIC-/380835437282?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item58ab8f9ae2 Similar to the concept of bubble gum cards, but w/ a 10 page comic

I'm gonna take off the back where the gum was and replace it w/ a Super Hero Hostess ad!

I don't think I knew about these. Not sure who did the Hulk cover, but the Spider-Woman one looks to be by Romita, Sr.

I used to love these. The gum in them was the best! It wasn't the brittle stuff that Topps packed with trading cards. It was soft and chewy and smelled really good.

^Topps gum was probably illegal in prisons because you could actually shank someone with it.

^Marvel so wanted Spider-Woman to be THEIR Wonder Woman. Never happened.
