    Spider-Mania!

Not that he ever really goes out of style but Spider-Man seems to have seen a real resurgance of merchandising, probably due to the CBS live action series which I loved as a kid and now doze to as an adult.
The Spider-Man drawing machine is an especially terrific toy, a friend of mine left one at my house for over a decade, I played with it a lot. I also like how there are two car sets on this page, kind of funny considering Peter Parker usually can't afford bus tokens.

Super Fun: The guys at Action Figure Insider created this clever commercial as an April Fools Prank yesterday, it's a modernization of the Kenner Super Powers Commercials but it also serves as a great parody of modern action figure collectors.

Speaking of Spider-Man: He's on tap for World's Greatest Toys Daily Mego Adoration today.

I like Number 3, the Spider-Man bum scratcher.

That commercial was pretty funny. The rock part reminded me of the Mego POTA ad when the Astronaut (w/ a little help) lets the rocks fall on the apes and says "Take that!"

'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

I remember the Spider-Man hand. I'm not sure if I had one or if someone I knew did, but I remember playing with it.

Love the Web of Terroe, that looks like a cool toy. You bought memories back of the mechanical arm as well, I didn't have a Spidey one though. I used to freak my bro out with that all the time.

It happens eveery so often BRIAN ---an update of yours literally hurts me
because I am suddenly reminded of something I LUSTED over 30 years ago
and now I have to add it to "the list" of things I need to get revenge
                    on existence!

THE WEB OF TERROR----bang!----after 30 years, just like that.

Incidentaly...if I had to guess...the resurgance of Spidey in the
late 70s can be chalked up to TWO things...

...firstly, a convergence of superheros creating superhero-mania
                    akin to present day ...

AND, more succinctly, the HUGE focus
on the Bakshi reruns in syndacation at that time---
I could be wrong---but I believe everything else was secondary
                    in Spidey-propulsion....including the short-lived live-action TV show
