Pretty interesting comic, most likely for smaller aged children like pre school to 1st graders to 3rd
and it's already 45 years old. Never seen this wonder how many issues were produced and there worth?
It's interesting that Ronald is the only Mc Donald's character in these comics? no cameos
by Big Mac, Mayor McCheese, Hamburgler, didn't the action figures come out shortly after?
Most of the McDonaldland characters weren't introduced until the fall on 1971, with the exception of Captain Crook who appeared in ads in 1970 and, of course, Ronald himself. That means those characters didn't exist when these books were created. I don't think the Hamburgler wasn't introduced for a few years into McDonaldland. Remco released thee figures in '76.

It's funny how we forget how short-lived many of them were. Having grown up with them, I always just assumed they were around much longer than I was. Most of them like Captain Crook, the Big Mac Cop, the professor etc were mostly just around in the 70's? Before Early and the Fry Guys took centre stage and the Hamburgler went with a more cuddly design.
funny as well how the look of the illustrated Ronald would constantly fluctuate... there didn't seem to be an "on model" standard back in the day until the eighties?
I love the McDonaldland commericals during the 70's. I wish that the Huckleberry figures would have released a wave 2 and that they were done as Mego size.
