I just saw American Greetings sold Strawberry Shortcake to Iconix. Which apparently also owns Snoopy and the Peanuts characters. I did not see that coming. This year is the 35th anniversary of Strawberry and her friends too. I don't really know what to make of it or how to feel. I'm guessing another update is coming in the near future. Hopefully the original versions of the characters will not be forgotten.
