Did these single handedly kill the bell bottom fad? I can't seem them getting any bigger. I know Brian can probably prove me wrong, however.

Nah...this looks like early to mid 70s. This guy doesn't even have feathered hair, and I'm sure Shaun Cassidy still had bells, though not this big!

They did get bigger back in the mid 80's to early 90's with the whole Madchester scene in the UK(Called Joe Bloggs flare). Incidentally that is where the baggy look came from for which it was all the rave in mid to late 90's.

JNCOs....ugh......glad we moved away from that denim nightmare.

If I ever see another drape haired bleach blond Devon Sawa wannabe in JNCOs it'll be too soon.

Yeah, I remember JNCOs and how they "borrowed" the Blogg look. They even started sponsoring underground raves which by then had gotten too commercial and losing it's underground appeal. Hence that look appealed the graffers, DJs, skaters, gang bangers and even commercial fashion. Pretty crazy how the Baggy took off from the bell bottom hippie look of late 60's and early 70's.

My dad had his bells custom made and some flared out like crazy. And this back in the 80's...sheesh. Glad he finally outgrew that look.

All they're missing is the rhinestones and cowboy hat.

I remember bicycle chains loving to eat bell bottoms.
