    Jaws like

The one window of opportunity of a blockbuster like Jaws is you can't copyright a Shark! Every rack toy maker (like Justen here) cranked out a Great White for years and made a ton of legitimate money as a result.

And there wasn't a thing Steven Spielberg could do about it.....

Rack Toys: Cheap, Crazed Playthings is a limited edition 144 page book from the creator of Plaid Stallions. Order from us and get three free promotional post cards.

At the time of Jaws, rubber sharks were all over the place. I had several like this, to attack my GI Joes...

GREAT artwork. It's a nice dupe of movie poster artist Bob Peak's Jaws artwork:

which was further crudely duped again for this 1970's HG toys "shark" puzzle

He is not mine, I found him going through a drive and couldn't quite remember where the photo came from. I think Ray just solved that mystery.

Thank you both! I thought the design looked familiar. Either someone bought this for me on a vacation or I bought it on a vacation and this would be the very early 80's if not tail end of the 70's, but I have this rather (also crudely made) cool looking shark and going by the photos he seems to be a sort of battle damage version of the one above, or possibly a knock off using that mold

pics are here and taken a number of years ago which is why they look like sh$t

That looks like the same shark sculpt. I've seen the same shark packaged different ways.
