Heh, I saw that auction and thought "Cool, Canadian seller but there's still no way I have a chance in hell!" The prices on these guys just keep going up and up, especially in the last several years...

Good luck man, he's pretty! Unfortunately this guy is quite a bit rarer than the Kamen Rider V3 Jumbo so there is serious demand when one pops up.

he is only up to $300.00 now with one more day. Perhaps he wont go for the price of a used car

Well, the second one ended up selling for $1325, so I guess that's the going rate on incomplete examples of these guys. I'd imagine that complete ones with scarf and whips would sell for well over $2000. And boxed ones almost never show up, I'd hate to even guess, but I'd imagine they could break five figures.

One cheaper alternative is the Mexican made bootleg of Kamen Rider X called "Aquaman" (?!?). Not quite as nice looking but less expensive.

This is a toy review of the "Aquaman" Jumbo Machinder made by Jugarama and based on Kamen Rider X.

I watched that one end last night.

Missed an Aquaman last month for $300, I'd gladly pay that. Guess I'll be patient.

Drunk father buys Machinder, this is surreal.

Ok, I just showed that to my wife and she didn't think it was weird at all. A drunk "salaryman" stumbling home after a night of after work heavy drinking with the boss was extremely commonplace in that era, so my wife thought it was a funny ad but not outlandish or unlikely. Gotta love the Japanese!

^^^I gotta know, who is the figure inside the thermos?

Keep these ads coming. I've always had a love of the jumbos just not a wallet that would accomodate those loving feelings.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

According to mine, it's STILL common practice in Tokyo today. Except that she (a tall blonde Gaijin woman) is now the boss, and is forced to hang out in Karaoke bars all night and ride late night subways that smell like breweries.
