I was expecting one of those naughty Tijuana Bibles featuring the Colonel. This is even weirder!

Look at the size of that KFC box. I bet you can hold a lot of sides in it.

He's making the family nervous, they didn't invite him.

The chicken in that photo actually looks good, I don't know about the states but the KFC here isn't the same.

It's good here, because it's fresh.

But seriously, it varies from spot to spot, like most fast food. I ate at KFC for lunch today (not-so-subliminal influence!) and had the grilled chicken. If it's not dry (which happens sometimes) it's actually pretty good.

Got this hanging up on my wall. Mint and still sealed. Always thought this cover was a hoot!

                      Gotta love Discogs!

                      Here is more info.

A product Of Mark 56 Records, Anaheim, California.

Text on back Of sleeve includes "Colonel Sanders' Famous Picnic Menu" and a short description of each song by The Colonel.

Side A and B each have different catalog numbers.

Sleeve spine has no information. No other credits on the release.

This release contains nearly identical versions of Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass' recordings.

Basically, studio muzos hired to play HATB tracks while you grub on some KFC.

I remember back in the early 80's seeing the Colonel at the KC airport. He looked EXACTLY like he did in the commercial, right down to the faux Civil War/southern gentleman attire.
I am more than machine. More than man. More than a fusion of the two.

This would have been a great concept if only all the tracks were "food" songs. Where's "Whipped Cream?" "Blueberry Hill?" "Green Onions?" "Jambalaya?" "Lollipop?" and most of all... "Mashed Potato Time?" (That one should have been a no-brainer!)
