    Dr Shrinker!

This toy would have grabbed my childhood money quicker than a vacuum although i would have been pretty bummed it wasn't an actual shrink ray (I wasn't class valedictorian) .

It's just one in a series of somewhat series relevant rack toys from Harmony who seemed to have the license for Krofft Supershow, here is the magnifying glass.

What can I say? I'm a sucker for toys with Jay Robinson's face on them. I'm also impressed with the amount of thought went into these, they're really well done.

Rack Toys: Cheap, Crazed Playthings is a limited edition 144 page book from the creator of Plaid Stallions and it's full of stuff just like this. Order from us and get three free promotional post cards.

Wow! I would have forked over my allowance for this too! I love the Krofft Supershow, especially the first season! Grooviness! Trivia factoid #1: Ted Eccles (who played Brad) was the voice of Aaron the Drummer Boy in the Rankin/Bass special when he was a kid. Trivia factoid #2: The character Hugo (as played by Billy Barty) originated on an episode of The Lost Saucer "Transylvania 2300". Triivia factoid #3: Jay Robinson was in the episode of Star Trek "Elaan Of Troyius". Trivia factoid #4: Susan Lawrence (B.J.) played in the Isis episode "Girl Driver". (There are a few factoids about Jeff MacKay (Gordy) too, but I think I'll stop now).

Do you know if Harmony had any other licenses? This one seems like low hanging fruit.

Their toys are hard to find but they're just so weird. They had the Krofft supershow, Hogan's Heroes (!), Laverne and Shirley and Emmet Kelly?

Why do I even KNOW that?!?

So Dr. Shrinker was technically a spin-off of Lost Saucer? I knew those shows often had common actors.
