Mystery Figure has me stumped.....Help!

Hi everyone, I have been a member for a while but this is my first post. I need some help identifying this mystery figure. Totally at a loss here, I thought maybe Gilbert, Marx initially but no markings to indicate that. A weird knockoff? Can anyone help? This is driving me crazy.... I have some pics uploaded to my gallery.

I have that FY loose. I keep him hidden so that the 12" Joe bug doesn't bite me again. It's a slippery slope.
