Thats funny, but whats worse is that there are TONS of people who collect WWII and Great Depression stuff! I remember this great scene in the movie The Last Castle, where the Robert Redford Character basically slams the James Gandolfini Character for collecting War items because they prove that the person who would collect such things had never stepped on a battlefield. Great movie!

That is FAR from true I have known many combat vets who collect militaria from before their War, same for re-enactors. Many re-enactors are former military and alot are combat vets. It's an easy shot for Redford to take in his anti military POV but not a fair one
