Finaly got my Alien.

I just got my first Alien yesterday. Got him for a sweet price thanks to BIN. He came complete but his right arm was broken off. I used elastic and wire crimps to reattach it. I still need to touch up some white on the top of his head but think he still looks pretty good. Only other issue it has is some melting on his dome but it's not real bad.

BTW: Isn't the white actually glow paint? If you are going to touch up the paint, I'd hunt down some glow acrylic.

Yeah, and along with the dome, the inner teeth and back spike are often missing too. Nice grab!

Great addition! A complete alien is hard to come by these days. I think they are just so damn cool, that nobody wants to sell them. Head paint does glow in the dark.

Picked up some glow in the dark last night. Going to lay a coat of white first then cover it with the glow in the dark. Will post a pic after I'm finished.

This is the only figure still on my "must buy" list.
As a vintage SciFi collector, this is the one to go for.

I touched-up the GITD paint on mine, too. Sounds like you've already got the right idea: The GITD paint is VERY thin so lay down some white acrylic first as a primer. Also, I "feathered" the GITD paint out beyond the damaged area to get a better blend. Finally, I used a little piece of foam rubber to sponge-on both the primer and the GITD so it looked factory sprayed and not brushed.
