    1978 Janex Toys Catalog

Janex Toys is largely known to children of the 1970s for their talking alarm clocks featuring Raggedy Anne, Batman and Bugs Bunny. However the company put out a lot of different toys and concepts (most of them centering around talking) during their tenure and held a good deal of popular licenses.

1978 saw Janex release toys based Superman, Wonderwoman, Sylvester and Tweety as well as going back to the well with the old favourites.

Check out the 1978 Janex Toys Catalog here.
and we also have the 1977 Catalog:

Wow, Cool! I have 2 Raggedy Ann & Andy clocks, 1 talks but the off switch is broken, so it will keep repeating the verse until you yank the battery out. I also have the Batman clock, but it doesn't talk. I also have the Raggedy Ann stapler from the executive set.
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

I've droned on and on about my beloved Janex Batman talking alarm clock, so I'll spare you all this time. I would love to have that executive set one day. I remember seeing the Batman and Robin toothbrush set in a Sears catalog.
