    End cap of cheap joy

I'm super tired tonight, so here is an awesome store display of Larami goodies circa 1981. I vividly remember that guy on the gun box. He kinda looked like my third grade teacher.

I would have been after either the sunglasses or that mini pool table.

I couldn't resist those cap rockets. Though I sometimes couldn't even hear the cap exploding over the sound of the metal tip smacking the ground

Me and my friends found, if you took a hole roll of those paper caps, laid it on a cinder block, and dropped another cinder block on top of it, it made quite a satisfying BOOM.

What exactly is the Spider-Man Super Signal w/ Whistle? It looks familiar...

People always ponder what they would do if they won the Powerball. I don't have to think about it. I would build a huge freakin' house with as big a underground floor plan as the one's up top. Then I would start designing that lower floor to read like a 70's toy store with ailes and end caps alike. Who knows when I would come up for air?

I remember a number of these. I use to buy the wallets all the time. They usually wouldnt last long staying in my pocket and constantly being opened and closed. They use to sell them with fake coins and bills to. Plastic bubbles was another favorite. I probably had most of them at one time or another.

I'm not sure what it says about me that I would like to recreate a temple to American consumerism- the mall I went to as a kid. I'd want Allied Hobby (toys, models and skateboards), Space Port (video arcade and pinball)... even an Orange Julius with soft pretzels!

Totally remember the Mighty Mouse pool table. Probably could scrounge one up at my grandmother's house today

My cousin and I did that but we used rocks. The rock we had the cap roll on caught on fire for a few seconds.

Was "Stake Out Squad" an actual show or just generic branding for police/detective toys?
