This was one of those toys that my mom gave me out of nowhere just because. Somehow those gifts always seemed the best. And I swear I was just thinking today that the guy on the front would make a cool mego custom.

        Still have mine!
However, I lost the crayon holder...I've been meaning to have the boy design me one so I can print it out..but other projects are in the way.

One of my all time favorite toys. Played the heck out of it. See them pop up every now and then but haven't gotten my hands on one yet.

I had a friend who had this. It was indeed a lot of fun. I would think this would still go over big today, especially with a Marvel or DC license. I know they make a Disney Princess version even today. C'mon Disney, make a Marvel one!

I never owned one but it looks neat.A superhero version would have been great.

Never had this one but would have loved it. Drawing and coloring were among my favorite hobbies as a kid.

I had the fashion plates! Lol. I recently found a Star Wars droid version made in the 90s, same frame mold as the fashion plates too!

I remember really wanting this at one point, but never had one. My sister had Fashion Plates though.

We had the Fashion Plates at the after school center I worked at, and I also bought a set based on the "Dinosaurs" (Jim Henson) TV series.
