Vintage Gumball Machine Displays

This was available at the Hamilton Toyshow this weekend. If my wife didn't hang onto my wallet, I would have left with all of them.

Those,are glorious. I vividly remember the Marvel one with the little decals.

I remember the Alpha Bits stickers and used to have the Batman one.

I briefly remember the Batman puffy stickers but never got any (I probably didn't have any quarters at the time). I never seen the Marvel decals with containers or the finger puppets. I do remember and have some of the DC mini cups that came in vending machines.

I remember that Marvel "shot glass" display. I don't remember where, but I recall being very young, and being in a store in a nearby town and trying for one of those. I got Spider-Woman. I remember that to this day. Of all those I could have got, I got Spider-Woman. And I think that was before her cartoon was on, so I was clueless.

I have the Spider-Man finger puppet, but I think I got it at a flea market at some point. I've never seen the Cap before. That's a nice sculpt!

The Batman display that says 1982 was probably really from 89. Many items had a 1982 copyright date, since that was the year the new DC Style Guide was printed, where nearly all of this artwork came from. In 1982, I imagine you would have still had a DC Super Heroes display, not just Batman.
