    Super Joe meets Godzilla

Seeing as it's Christmas eve, I'm going to hurry up and do a few of my favourites before I shut down for the year. This piece featuring Hasbro Super Joe (an underrated line IMHO) features Shogun Warriors Godzilla, for no good reason but it totally works. This is what I miss about catalogs....

That is a fantastic pic, I've never seen it before. Some of my favourite toys all together! It never occurred to me before, but Terron does make a decent foe for the Mattel Godzilla. Mine aren't displayed anywhere near each other in my toy room, I might have to change that!

BTW Brian, how much were the Godzilla and Terron selling for? Just curious what their retail prices were.

Wow, cool ad. The Terron seems like a really underrated monster toy. Think I got mine for 1.99 loose on ebay. Is it just me or are the figures really out of scale though? They look more like 12" compared to Godzilla.

I noticed that too. I guess it's just because Godzilla is much further in the background. They do seem pretty much in scale to Terron though (who I agree is a great, underrated monster toy)

Amazing pic! Is it from Sears?

The perspective on that picture makes Godzilla seem short, or the Super Joes huge!

                    Very cool!

                      I lived this picture.

Terron was always my standby Anguilius for Godzilla and Rodan as they fought the Shogun Warriors.

what an amazing ad!! I also love the slightly altered look of Godzilla (notice his red eyes)

The weird thing is that my childhood Godzilla has one red and one yellow eye. I'm still not sure which one is the correct colour!

WOW! I have two of them here and both have Yellow. Maybe super early editions had Red?? In your case they just could not decide
