    Kenner Glamour Gals

I was thinking about how cool and fun GGs were today and came across these great photos from PS again. I'm always kinda surprised Hasbro has never brought these back.

Also, because of the 3 3/4 inch scale, Glamour Gals and Mattel's Dazzle were terrific fill in figures for popular lines that didn't have female figures. No Dale Arden in Flash Gordon? No Andromeda in Clash of the Titans? No MJ in Secret Wars? Use a Glamour Gal.

Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

This is a really cool line. Too bad it wasn't done in 8" scale, I remember the first time I saw some of the figures on Ebay and the disappointment when I finally found out they were "small scale." I love their ride.

Have you ever seen the line of these that is all guys? I'm struggling to remember the name but I stumbled upon it one day, it's very popular with collectors now.

        Ah yes, these were great!

I only managed to get a few Glamour Gals, but I had almost all the Dazzle Dolls, Blaze, and the Shopping mall.
I did get catalog pics though, and day dreamed about the ones I wanted.

Glamour Galls had incredible accessory sets, a cruise ship, and MEN, something sorely needed in the Dazzle line.
Egads, my tattered ones are still in the attic (minus the shopping mall). I should drag them down for a survivor shot.

And yes, they were ALL fed to my Chemtoy Jaws in the bathtub. Some of them survived.
Man, that cruise ship would have been GREAT for my Jaws to circle around.

Here is the line I was thinking of, it's popularity might be because of it's unintended undertones:

^Are you SURE they were unintended?

That looks a little intended to me.

                That would be cool.

I had a bunch of GG toys as a kid too. Figures, playsets and the car (which was AWESOME). I still remember getting the GG playset and Manglor Mountain at Children's Palace on the same day. Both were on super discount. Unfortunately I only have the Carrying case and a few dolls left from my childhood collection. Manglord is long gone too. Once you stretched him, squished him and took him apart, he did not come back for more. That was actually pretty much it for him.

I don't remember those. The action figure lines I collected already had so many male figures, a line like that really wouldn't have been too interesting to me.
