    Some Home Decor Ideas

Poopin' in Style: The idea of carpeting around a toiled is unbelievable "Skeevy" to me. Also, I think I'd kill any plant placed in my bathroom.

Decorative and Functional: I think I see clocks like this at every flea market I go to, popular for a time but man, when they fell out of favour, they fell hard.

Is that a toilet in the top pick or the lost muppet known as Flusher?

Believe it or not we actually had carpet in our bathroom in the 70's. If I remember right it was some shade of green. And of course it matched the toilet and tank covers. I'm a child of the 70's, what can I say...

My bathroom growing up was a deep Orange with a funky toilet seat that had an owl painted on it.

My mom took 70's decor very seriously, our whole house looked like Sid and Marty Krofft designed it.

Those fuzzy toilet seat covers were a liability! That was just 30 more seconds it took you to realize the lid was down when you had to take a wiz in the middle of the night!

Our bathroom growing up was boring, no type of decor, just white, and every one had a different color towel, washcloth and toothbrush. I think we had a light blue bath mat and toilet mat. But that's it.

My dad's girlfriend had one of those photo clocks w/ a sunset on it.

I can just hear it now:"Honey,we're out of toilet paper." "No problem dear. Just run your butt across the floor like the dog does."

We never had the carpeting, but we did have the fuzzy lid and tank covers. They lasted until we decided that the tank cover was too much trouble to put on. Also, the lid cover didn't fit properly either.

By the way, is it just me or does the fuzzy cover on the toilet seat itself (not the lid) just look like trouble waiting to happen?

My grandmother had a Christmas-themed toilet cover she'd put out every year. It had Santas's face on the top of the lid and when you lifted it up he was covering his eyes.

I think of it as the ulitmate in toilet art.

We HAD to have capeting because the floor underneath was black and white checkerboard. I would love to have my spare bathroom lool like the picture but then again I live alone

My mother-in-law still has a fuzzy cover on her guest bathroom toilet lid (not the seat, thank goodness). This keeps the lid from staying up when you want it too. Rather than holding open the lid while I take care of business, I just stuff the lid cover in the cabinet when we visit.

Yes what wonderful ideas, I must find those items and redo the bathroom so i can watch the value of my house drop even farther, But on the bright side i can send the picture of the bathroom to the bank and they would never reprocess the house
