    Christmas Adventure




    Adventure People were a Christmas staple for me from '75 to '79, I'm not sure I ever even asked for them but they were welcome. The hours I spent playing with sets 1 through 3 probably outnumbered the amount I studied in college, so more than nine hours...

    I just can't believe how cheap that stuff was- you really did get a bargain for your buck even back then ($10.00 for the whole Wilderness set??Roughly $7 for the Sea explorer-- WOW!)

      Yeah, but remember that minimum wage in '76 was $2.30, so that Wilderness set cost about 5 hours pay. That would be about $49.99 today, it's comparative. My first job back then I took home about $30 a week after taxes part time after school.

            Ahh see that is the problem since I was only three years old in 1976. It just seemed that even by those standards then it was cheap, but after reading your breakdown of the time I see it was actually not so cheap after all
