Hugo! I got hugo!

After ten years or so of wanting him, I finally got one!

I think I paid a bit more than he usually sells for, or maybe not. Let me know.

He looked very clean with a decent amount of parts, so I grabbed him.

Mines on the shelf right above me, my Mom loved it and kept since I was a tot. Its creepy having a BIlly Barty puppet.

When I was a kid my grandmother had one one the playroom for us kids, nobody really knew who Hugo was and we were all a little creeped out by him.

I got one for X-mas. Loved it! Played with him for hours on end. If I remember correctly, the adhesive didn't work well for holding the piece on him or human skin.
Don't recall him EVER creeping me out. With, or without pieces.
I heard from older friends that there was a Charlie McCarthy puppet marketed for kids that creeped a lot of them out, when they were young.

I have Hugo too, (got him from a member here). I didn't have him as a kid, but my cousins did. I'm missing some parts, but he's still lotsa fun to play with. He's made appearances in a couple of my videos w/ my dolls as a carnival fortune teller, and horror movie host "Dr. Shock".

No, I don't think you overpaid, maybe underpaid for that quality. That's a really nice one.

I got him today! He looks a bit better in the pictures. The shirt looks super clean in the pics, but has what I am assuming are stains from the glue. If I could get those out, he'd be pretty nice.

A lot of the hair parts have the glue on them too. Overall those he is not bad. Does anyone know of a picture online that shows a 100% complete Hugo?
