Love these! I still remember the warm toasted plasticky smell of the Champion Outlet store as you chose your design off the wall and they hot pressed it for you on the spot.
Those are pretty cool! If you go to Iron On Station .com , they have some really cool ones. And if you copy/paste them into your files, you can make your own w/ iron-on print paper for dark shirts. I made my 18 inch inch boy doll a Kung Fu shirt that way.

Those are super cool and so very 70's! Not that I'm suggesting this, but has anyone tried to actually iron a vintage iron-on? I've wondered if my cheap Mead school supplies iron-on would work today.
Well, I've had some of my Shaun Cassidy iron-on put on shirts by a professional t-shirt shop. But since they are old, they've had begun to crack.

If you do a search of Mead School Supplies iron on, you'll find a Hulk and Captain American Mead iron on pics. If you flip the image on your PC, you can print it on Dark fabric transfer paper.

Thanks. I've been really tempted to pick up some authentic 70's iron-ons. The really cheesey ones with silver reflective bits. I don't mind if they ultimately crack (just like they used to), but I would like a successful transfer.
Well Iron-on Station is good for that too. There are some more vintage iron-on websites you can order shirts from as well.

Off topic, but this post reminds me of the really cool iron on t-shirt shops in the mall back in the 70s...could get the shirt made right there, I still remember the small of the hot press...
I love the t-shirts from back in the day....they were the best!
I have a Six Million Dollar Man and 3 Lynda Carter vintage iron ons that I had put on shirts. The SMDM turned out the best and I wear it all the time. The Lynda transfers did well but 2 ended up with some streak/light marks on one corner and 1 didn't want to stick on some of the edges. Still have a few ore Lynda/Wonder Woman transfers, a Cheryl Ladd, Farrah and a Batgirl transfer along with the Spiderman Mead package.
