I really enjoyed this month's monster podcast, guys. Listening to y'all talk about all these wonderful old toys really brings back memories that were buried deep in my cranium. I hadn't thought about Gre-gory in years, but I distinctly remember seeing that ad countless times in comic books and magazines. It always drove me a little crazy trying to figure out how to pronounce his name. Was it GREE or Greh (as in Greg?!) You guys pronounced it the way I always thought it was pronounced. Also, the dirt from Dracula's castle is a strong memory for me.

My 'Howling' moment was from another horror film, Friday the 13th. The sex scene where the guy gets skewered up through the bed was the first time I had ever seen sex simulated in live-action. It nearly fried my 12-year-old brain. So exciting!

My grandmother took me to see THE HUNGER at the theater. That was probably the first time I'd seen sex depicted on screen. Might have been my first exposure to nudity, too. I remember thinking the lesbian sex scenes were kind of boring. I wanted to get back to the vampire stuff asap.

Actually, I'd always thought it would be pronounced like the name Gregory, just with an emphasis on the "gory" part, so I'd say "Greh-GORY".

I think that movie beats "inchon" in our "odd movies grandmother's took their kids to" sweepstakes.
