I have a couple in that group plus some others! Here is ONE shoebox I have right on hand showing some examples, can't find my batman cards or the Riddlers Riddles set right now, collect them whenever we could, (the Green Hornet set was bought within the last 10 years), the others from our youth, also liked the bubble gum! How many slabs can you chew at one time??

Looking back I remember knowing most of the big movies and t.v. shows at the time before seeing them firsthand thanks to trading cards!

Do they even have these nowdays? If they do Im sure there not as good as the ones from our day.

Nah...poor kids only have dumb Pokemon and YuGiOh crap now. And no bubble gum in them. I don't think they know what trading cards are beyond the role playing/game ones. And since they don't have to wait all week to watch their favorite shows or movies, I guess they don't need TV show/movie cards.

I had a thing for the Happy Days cards for awhile. For some reason I still remember the Mr. C card where he says "These kids are cool, but the can't dance the Charleston."

That must have stuck with me because I didn't get it for several years.

Those were the days I completed the 1st series Empire Strikes Back and started numerous others.

I loved Happy Days but I never knew they made gum cards

Were they limited to certain areas ?
