    To the space pole!

It's weird but quite common that in the late sixties, a lot of Batman knock offs in the late 1960s simply replaced "Bat" with "Space", which is far less lazy than "Catman" I guess...

The header card makes it look like Batman...er...Space Man borrowed the Phantom's trunks while doing the dishes in his Playtex Living Gloves...in space.

Another great example of how much leniency companies had with licensing back then. Try that today and see how quickly a Cease and Desist order find's it's way to that company's front desk.

Was there not enough crime in Gotham to keep him busy?
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

That's pretty funny. Maybe he shoulda had his own cartoon: "Spaaaaace Bat!"
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

They don't make quality toys like that anymore...
