Did it today and bums me out!

but thankfully it was small enough to glue and fix.

    Still displays great though.

When I was taking pictures of a loose Mego Superman die-cast figure, I was trying to pose it and the hip joints were really stiff, so I carefully wiggled one leg back and forth until it snapped. That was bad enough, but then I did the exact same thing to the other leg.

I had bought a new display case for my Kenner alien and sometime during the first night of him being in there, the case fell...the aliens arm broke off and his dome cracked in a few places...i still cry about that one...

I was cleaning one of my shogun warriors, it slipped out of my hand and some of the parts broke into pieces.

Not sure it is worse than after reading about the Kenner Alien** ouch ***

Not exactly a rare toy, but while opening a MAC Buffy action figure, half her arm broke off. Learned that while those figures looked great in the package, they were cheap pieces of (bleep) out of the package.

actually, funny but true story, when I was 7 or 8 I got the Ideal robot guy for Christmas, the one that was a Star Wars knockoff and went with Knight of Darkness. what was his name Zem? anyway, took him out of the box, arm was stuck from the chrome paint and I snapped it right off trying to move it. the adults all got a laugh out of it at the time

Oh ouch! If it's any consolation, the arms fall off of these pretty easily anyway, the rubber connectors inside tend to get very fragile with age and can break for the slightest reason. Really sucks about the dome though, that's the piece that's often missing, so if you have one you hate to see something happen to it.

That sucks too. These guys usually tend to be pretty indestructible for the most part, out of curiosity which one was it and what parts broke? (just to make sure I don't repeat the mistake )
