Classic Toy find of the decade!

Okay, first off I'll acknowledge that most here wont understand this purchase, but will have to agree that a find like this is amazing. The "Frisbee" as we have come to know it was originally called the 'Pluto platter' in the 1950s. A gentleman contacted me who was tasked with 'cleaning out' a small rural general store that has been closed since the very early 1960s. He found this unopened, unsold, NOS lot of original "Patent Pending" Pluto Platters! They are a true time capsule item and the packages show minimal wear, some are dead mint.

The flying disc, as it has been called as of recent, is one of the most Iconic toys ever conceived, here is possibly the only picture any of you will ever see of this many original PAF models in one location!

I hope you enjoy! (and if you know of anyone who may be interested, message me, they are for sale!)

You have no idea how bad I want to!!! But I had to 'step up to the plate' with this guy to get this lot, so affecting the value in any way is not an option for me at least. The real entertainment was the look on my wife's face when I told her I spent 4 digits on a box of frisbees! LOL Oh well, It'll just give her "A story" to complain about me to her sisters! LOL

Where does one sign up to clean old out rural general stores abandoned fifty years ago?

Yep, and in reputable stores they go for twice that. As I have quite a few my prices will be somewhat lower than eBay, and have a choice of colors too!

There was nothing else of any interest in the building

Cool! I still have my hot pink original Whamm-o frisbee from the 70s! I only wish I could find the Batman & Robin one I had as well.
