    Worst packaging ever... ever... ever!

I really believe that the packaging for the Beetlejuice line of movie toys are some of the most horrendous looking boxes and cards I've ever seen. I've always been a big fan on the movie and as such am easily influenced to buy crap but not in this instance. Anyone else get turned off by packaging to the level of my rant?

To be fair, it is an ugly box, but a seriously cool toy.
Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figures

Exactly my point. But being a packaging kind of guy ( it's more about the art than the monetary aspect), I just can't get passed the designs. Plus most of the carded or boxed examples I've seen in the wild are terribly yellowed.

Fair enough. I am a loose collector, so these things are less important to me.

Though paint, completeness, unbroken, and sticker placement are always concerns.

That price tag makes me so miss Kay Bee Toys, at least once a week I use to go down at lunch just to see what they had. I miss that store :(
But yeah I see what you mean about the design.

I'm guessing that was Kenner's way of selling the line to kids. By going with the stripes and day-glow colors, they downplayed the scarier aspects of the brand.

There were some hideous packaging designs at that time for sure. Toy Biz's DC Super Heroes and their gold dots are vomit-inducing as well.

Is it just me, or does what's creeping all over that bed appear to be "not so overtly" phallic in nature? Maybe hey reused the mold for some John waters movie toys! Lol

That's not a bed, it is supposed to be his grave.

Actually it is his bed/grave. Why they went with there color scheme I will never know.
