Superman The Movie cards from Holland... anyone see these before?

Today on my site Collecting Superman, I'm featuring a series of Superman The Movie trading cards from Holland. The packs have almost no information on them, though, and the backs are blank. Anyone know anything about this unusual set?

I saw those this morning on your site. Those are...odd. The back of the Krypton Council's heads is the clencher for me. They almost look bootleg.

It's interesting that both this company and Topps put a LOT of photos of Valerie Perrin as Miss Tessmacher in these card sets. I swear she's in them far more than the female lead, Margot Kidder. I can give you two reasons why...

Amazing! I really did believe a man was laying in front of a blue screen pretending he could fly.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

These sound a lot like a set of wrestling cards that are also from Holland, also come perforated, also come in the odd wrapper, and also have some of the strangest photo choices you could imagine. The wrestling ones were made by a company called Monty Gum and were unlicensed.

Thanks! I just did an eBay search for Monty Gum and it sure looks like that's what they are.

I noticed on some of the Superman cards, the image is inverted so his "S" is backwards. That's a bit different. Cool set though!
