I epitomize the guy who has made a living by only doing what he loves. I own a music store in a East Tennessee town, and accept Cool Toys as payment for gear. I also do quite a bit of networking in the area and am always ready when a guy needs to sell/trade one piece or a collection. Honestly, It's really 'trying' some times, dealing with 'needy collectors' (wink, wink), but, as it's not really what I do for a living, I just smile and don't trade with them if they start getting seemingly obnoxious! lol

The toy thing is really just a hobby, usually I'll buy a collection then trade/sell just enough to keep certain items for myself. I'm sure this is a pretty common 'collector strategy' around here as well. This SMDM stuff came with the contingency that I buy his (entire) collection, which included a LOT of stuff I'm not really interested in (Modern Star Wars stuff, etc) but I'll find someone who is interested in trading it for something I am into. (Maybe a collector with a 1979 Alien will walk in wanting a collection of newer star wars! That would be awesome!)

              Sorry for the ramble.
