Best Wishes from Batman and Wonder Woman

    click for a larger version

My pal Scott hooked me up with this incredible "autographed" promotional photo of Sea World Batman and Wonder Woman, I now owe him a coke. I don't think I've ever seen this particular image and while wall space is limited in the lair, this one is getting framed.

Send me your mall appearance photos!

I wish I had been able to see this in person when I was young.

WOW! So many cool details there. You can really see how the costume works, with the cape strapped to Batman's shoulders, and apparently his wrists. The Batboat looks cool, and Batman signed it "THE Batman". So 70s, when DC was trying their hardest to differentiate the character from his 60s personae, while still raking in the dough from it.

      Awesome!

Wonder Woman has ample floatation devices.

In every pic I've seen of this show, Wonder Woman has had a printed body stocking, like a life-size 8" Mego. Here she has a more elaborate, "accurate" costume. Maybe just done for publicity shots?

One of my fondest childhood memoies was seeing this type of show at Sea World in Aurora, Ohio. Thanks for sharing this pic--how cool it would have been to get an "autographed" photo as a memento.

Based on what I've seen here compared to my memories, there were several costume variants for characters, perhaps from year-to-year, or park-to-park? You're right, though--the photo costume for WW seems much too elaborate (& revealing lol) for water-skiing.

You lucky dog. I would have killed to have seen this as a kid, although my skull would have been a vacant crevice after it was completely blown.

Come for the Super Heroes, stay for the TNA!!!
