big 70's parts lot

picked this lot up on ebay. obviously I bid for the Bullet Man helmet, which is in really great shape. also in the lot were BM boots in rough shape but still displayable, 2 Mego M16's, 2 sets Apes Mocassins, 1 general ape boot, a pair of Mr. Fantastic boots, 2 Trek belts, a bunch of Joe boots, land adventurer head, 6MDM shoes - red and black, several pair of LJN SWAT or Emergency boots, a few other Joe and Mego items. not sure what the rest is. I think the engine block goes to 6MDM, no? the brown and tan blasters and sword are for He-man, there is a gun from Secret Wars, Muhammed Ali boot, Lone Ranger boot. plastic shoulder pads for Mego size figure....AJ football?

there is a 12" Kenner Jawa blaster in there as well. there is also an M16 similar to the Mego one but more rubbery and has a smaller stock, is this for the SWAT figures?

There is a Bravestarr crystal (little red piece under the Secret Wars shield thing). I can use that. There is also the Maroon Webstor/Castle Grayskull rifle that was packed with a Man-E-Faces variant nicknamed (Man-E-Weapons) that came with 4 maroon weapons).

the weapon is not maroon though, it is brown. there is the brown rifle and tan one, plus brown sword and a tan pistol. the tan ones came with Greyskull didn't they?

The heli backpack is from Ghostbusters. It's from Egon in the black suit. It's not rare but GB is a decent seller. I have several of the figures for it if you want to complete it. You buy that lot all day long at that price. I've seen SMDM engines sell for $15 by themselves easily. That was a very good score.

The Man-E-Faces weapons were recasts of the Grayskull ones, which are all gray. It looks like a Man-E-Faces marroon one to me and since it is near a sword which is the marroon variant for sure, I believe it is.

the bullet man helmet alone could got for at least $25.00, plus all the Mego guns and shoes, i was very happy. I have to take pictures and will sell or trade much of the rest

The siren roof rack is from either the SWAT van or the rookies police car. I believe they were the same on both. That could be another good piece. The orange sword is from Jitsu from MOTU. Looks like one of the pairs of black boots is for Mr. Fantastic too.

Nostalgiabuff, you're right that the engine block is from SMDM. I've seen those go for $15 by themselves. The red shoes are for Steve Austin and I think the black ones only came with Maskatron. You got a good deal, man!
