Did my first Bulletman restring today!

Took about a 1/2 hour at the most give or take. Came out pretty nice. Check it out

I was fun so I did another. All in all it took about a hour or so to do two. Almost have a Super Joe finished as well. Just have to connect the legs to the crotch.

awesome. I have been rebuilding a lot of muscle body joes the last few months. are you using elastic or Cotswald type joints? what are you using on your Super Joes? i use the drill holes method and use electric terminal connectors with nylon spacers and metal pins

I used elastic. I read that you had to break them open to use cotsworld repair kits & I didn't like the sound of that. I'm using homemade connectors on the Super Joe. After several months of trial & error I finally came across a idea that works without having to damage the body at all.

Took me a bit to come up with a non invasive restring that I liked. I ended up doing a three step process that allows the arms to have a full range of motion. The Bman I recently sent chaz was wired up that way. It is a great feeling to bring a muscle body back from a pile of parts.

Nice work. I'd love to do Bulletman as a Meet exclusive but I have no idea how to do the chrome helmet and arms.

Scott, send the parts to this guy: Chrome Tech USA. Only thing is that he charges about $2 per part. Well, that's what he quoted me.

to use the costwald joints you only need to break apart the upper arm and part of the chest, it's really not that destructive and you just crazy glue it back together. i would be interested to see detailed photos of the elastic method you use

Do you think this process would work on plastic arms and a resin shrunk helmet? I don't know enough about the process.

His name is Robert and from what he quoted me last time I spoke to him he said yes. I sent him photos of the arts. I have a resin helmet and Castaway arms.
