    Vintage Toy Astronauts

One of the first toys I remember having was a small set of astronauts that had removable helmets and chest gear/back rockets. I've been searching for them for a while, but because I couldn't remember who made them or what they were called, it's been difficult to find any information on them over the years. Through dumb luck, I finally found a set on ebay listed as: STEP INTO SPACE 1969 Moon Astronaut Toy 3 Action Figures Flag Orig Card BC Int'l.

The top right of the bubble was coming apart from the card, which allowed me to carefully pull out the figures & flag for some quick pics, then back to the bubble they went for re-gluing.

    Does anyone else remember these?

    Hmmmm....

I have some vague memories of those guys.... and a set of divers that were really similar.

I remember getting a pair of those guys with a space themed chocolate rabbit for Easter as a kid.

I had a set of those except they were black and they were underwater sea men. The same mold though. Good score!

I never saw those, but they're awesome. I love anything retro-spacy.

I had the space guys as well as some of the underwater versions as well. I guess your mom shopped where mine did.

.... Very interesting these figures. Typical of an era. Jorge.

neat, I had the divers like those. Love the succulents in the background, too.

I have some early 90's re-pops of these guys, they are super fun.... We had them as kids too, mostly just Timpo Swoppit knock offs and mostly Cowboy and indians... me and my brother called them "Break-off" men, because you could break them apart and swap parts...
