FYI, John Belushi's character in 1941 was Wild Bill Kelso.

I didn't realize there was more show after the music at the 1:17 mark. It was a nice surpise.

The show was so good I'm listening to it twice.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Suggestions box: I would like to hear a segment where both Brian and Jason discuss which Mego is the most dearest to them and why. Are the reasons anchored to a special moment in your life or is it simply that seminal moment as a child when you saw that one figure and it's lasting impact. Part 2 to that question: Do you still have that original figure?

I would also love a discussion on Big Jim. His evolution from the early 70's sports jock to more of a superhero based character in the mid 70's. As well as his often misunderstood afterlife where some believe his look was pushing a lifestyle not immediately advertised on the cover. Where was the disconnect between America and the overseas market? Why did Big Jim die off so early in the states, but thrive for twice as long overseas? I think that would make for a good discussion.

We probably will avoid doing a Mego specific episode because the Mego Museum Podcast will be hopefully coming back soon.

A big jim episode would be a blast to do.

I never heard this BUT my best pub pal is gay and he says that Big Jim and the camper playset was his favorite toy. He also claimed that "HIS" Big Jim was straight. I have my doubts.
