    Ratchet Jaws

This hideous t shirt was released just in time to stand as a reminder that North America briefly embraced CB radios and trucker culture...

Clearly announces you are on the lookout for a Kojak with a Kodak, or a Texas Bubblegum Machine.

There is nothing more romantic than being hopped up on speed, being unwashed and stuck in traffic all day. Keeping a chimpanzee in the cab would have made life "interesting".
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Let me go on record and say I loved the CB culture. My grandfather had a police scanner I loved to listen to and eventually my dad hooked up a CB in my room. It didn't broadcast well, but you could listen to the truckers on a nearby highway. Very cool memories.

I totally don't get the ratchet reference.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I'm trying to figure out why the cartoon guy on the shirt is licking the CB.

I wonder if this t-shirt actually came out during the short-lived popularity of the fad. I remember seeing CB stuff for a few years after the fad faded a bit.

That said, I am a sucker for this type of artwork on what appears to be an iron-on decal. Those things really take me back. It was always such a tragedy when they started to slowly peel off :(
