Super 7 issue Alien "Reaction" Catalogs

The good folks at Super 7 shared with me this brilliant catalog they're handing at next weekend's WonderCon out in anticipation of their 3 3/4" "ReAction" figures (great name!). This catalog is loaded with inside vintage toy references and of course, the cover pays tribute to the Kenner game box.

As a collector of both action figures and vintage catalogs, this sings to me.

I wish more toy companies would do such things, I also hope this 3 3/4" revolution continues. Happy days!

Wonder if this will be made available outside of WonderCon, because I'd really like to get one of these.

That is a great piece of swag. I'd get in line for one as well.

So what does everybody think about the SRP on these? Based on what I've read so far it seems like most people are getting sticker shock.

IMO, well worth the price and cheap. The customs people have been making have been going for more than double that.

Been waiting for the Alien and Ripley for over 30 years. Yes, well worth it.

Totally reasonable! look at mass produced 3 and 3/4 figs at Walmart and Target and what they cost, then think they are likely to produce 25 percent of those numbers. Next think about the exclusivity and the history behind making these prototypes a reality. Finally, realize these are being made by a relatively small company and theres a lot of love being poured into them... This adds up to" WELL WORTH THE MONEY... IMHO.

Not a big fan of Alien but I love the idea. Hopefully they will do well I'd love to see more unreleased vintage toys like this.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

They are worth it to me. If I can get the set of five for $100, then it's money we'll spent. The thing is, they've done everything right with these. The packaging is perfect. You can't nitpick the product. I'll be happy to support them with my dollar in hopes that more toys like this get made, with this attention to detail.

I think $20 is pretty good deal for what these are. I would be happy to pay $20 for some of Kenner's unreleased SW figures.

I imagine it will be even less than that. Price wise, even $30 each is not unreasonable imo, but $20 is the retail sweet spot. It'll be interesting to see who carries these. Interesting once I get my sets, I mean. Nerve wracking until then.

I'm fine with the price. It's not as if they're going to release a couple of dozen more, or a "Ninja Action Ripley", so for this set of five, I'd definitely go for it.
