After seeing this topic yesterday I had to make a stop at my parent house to get these shots of our very played with Fisher Price sets, hey the boxes still look good after all these years, and I don't know how the dog's ears survived, they are bitten, but I know there is another dog around missing both plastic ears!

toy stores, when i use to buy megos was that movie projector,i would pick it up every time and look at
the film.no matter where you went most of the time it was the lonesome ghost cartridge,i loved that.

I think it's wonderful that a little guy w/ no arms or legs or even painted clothes could spark so much imagination. The FP Adventure People had NOTHING on your little guy!
Since so many liked the story, here's the man behind it:

Like a mego, there's a friendliness to his expression. And a simpleness to him overall that I think lent itself to my projecting all the stories to him.
Thanks for the chance to think back over it and share!"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."Comment

I had the parking garage, and have many memories of sitting on the floor playing with it.

Didn't realize there were different varieties on each figure!
and here is the dog with the chewed off ears
and the original series wooden head and body went to plastic heads and wooden body (then eventually to plastic/plastic)

I never had much in the Little People line, but I did have quite a few Adventure People sets and had alot of great times with them. The Northwoods Trailblazer set was one of my favorite toys of all time I believe.ChadComment
