LJN Fighting Men Rip off or copied from Heroes in Action

I had some of the Heroes in Action as a kid- and purchased some replacements a few months back. While shirking my other duties I stumbled on a knock-off H.I.A called "Mr. Action Fighting Men". I love knock off style toys and the B.I.N was too good to pass up! I was surprised to see the maker was LJN. It looks to be slightly larger than Mattel's Heroes and there is nothing printed on the back to show if there were others in the line up.

Has anyone seen these before and were there other variations?

They are a little larger that the HIA figures. There are 5 that I Have found.

Thanks turnbolt! I read your write up- and feel the exact same way about them. I wish the card offered up more info, but like I said, there is nothing printed on the back.
